On 29 November 2016, EPCF Chair MEP Inmaculada Rodriguez-Pinero hosted the 17th EPCF Plenary in the European Parliament in Brussels. This annual event provides an opportunity for ceramic representatives, policymakers and other stakeholders to discuss important issues under debate in the EU institutions.
MEP Inmaculada Rodríguez-Piñero, Chair of the European Parliament Ceramics Forum (EPCF), hosted the EPCF breakfast debate Making EU ETS work for small emitters. This EPCF breakfast debate was an opportunity for policymakers and European ceramic executives to exchange on the post-2020 review of the EU Emissions Trading Scheme (ETS).

On 8 October 2014 a European Parliament Ceramics Forum (EPCF) welcome lunch for MEPs was held at the European Parliament. The aim of the event was to introduce the EPCF, formerly chaired by Malcolm Harbour (IMCO Chair) and Lord Michael Cashman, to the new Parliament so as to continue the constructive discussions between industry and policymakers.
The annual plenary meeting of the European Parliament Ceramics Forum (EPCF), co-chaired by MEPs Malcolm Harbour and Michael Cashman, welcomed 120 participants. The agenda featured a wide range of topics of high relevance to both the ceramic industry and the European institutions. Debates were held with many prestigious speakers among which several MEPs, representatives from the Commission (DG Energy, DG Climate Action, DG Enterprise & Industry) and industry stakeholders. The event was concluded with a EPCF cocktail and keynote speeches by Commissioner for Energy Günther Oettinger and BUSINESSEUROPE Director General Mr Markus Beyrer.
